By accessing or using The Handcrafted Co. website and services (the “Marketplace”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Marketplace. These Terms apply to all visitors, buyers, and sellers.
The Handcrafted Co. is a curated digital marketplace that connects independent artisans with buyers. We provide the platform for listings, storefronts, and transactions but are not a party to the sale between a buyer and a seller, except where we act as the payment processor for seller subscriptions.
Buyers may browse and purchase products without creating an account, though an account may be required for order tracking and support. You agree to provide accurate information at checkout, including shipping details, and to pay all amounts due at the time of purchase. Prices are listed in US dollars.
Artisans who wish to sell on the Marketplace must submit a vendor application and be manually approved. Approved sellers are invited to create an account and subscribe to a monthly selling plan ($24.99/month) to access the seller dashboard and storefront. Subscription fees are billed in advance each month until canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality and legality of their goods, fulfillment of orders, and all applicable taxes. Sellers must have the rights to sell the items they list and must not post prohibited, counterfeit, or unlawful content. The Handcrafted Co. reserves the right to remove listings or suspend sellers who violate these Terms.
Orders placed through the Marketplace are agreements between the buyer and the seller. Sellers are expected to fulfill orders promptly and communicate shipping details. The Handcrafted Co. is not liable for a seller’s failure to deliver, product quality, or disputes between buyers and sellers, though we may mediate in good faith.
All content on the Marketplace not created by sellers — including the brand name, logos, layout, and design — is owned by The Handcrafted Co. and protected by intellectual property laws. Sellers retain ownership of their product images, descriptions, and branding, and grant us a license to display them on the Marketplace.
You agree not to misuse the Marketplace, including by interfering with its operation, attempting unauthorized access, scraping content, posting fraudulent listings, or engaging in deceptive practices. Violations may result in account termination and legal action.
The Handcrafted Co. provides the Marketplace “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Marketplace or any transaction conducted through it.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Marketplace at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you cease immediately. Sellers who cancel or whose subscriptions end lose access to the seller dashboard and storefront features.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Marketplace or by email to registered users. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
